The opening theme song to the anime is the lovely instrumental Silhouette of a Breeze, by Kunihiko Ryo and Hijiri Kuwano.

The episodes were originally subtitled by IIChan Translation Group. The animated series was intended to have 36 episodes, but the quality - and the research - sent it so far over budget that it cuts off rather abruptly at episode 12. A new series has begun recently, Victorian Romance Emma Second Act.

Both series have been licensed for American release by Right Stuf. Support the series: buy them!

Having finished the main manga, Kaoru Mori began a set of side stories: Emma Bangaihen (Further Tales). The first two are about Kelly Stowner as a young woman. The third is the further adventures of Eleanor.

IIChan has translated a one-volume collection of Kaoru Mori's earlier work, "Shirley" - clearly Emma's predecessor. The artwork is simpler, but the story is about a turn-of-the-century English maid (and Kōta Hirano's third favorite). It's very cute. Take a look.

Finally, IIChan has translated a short fanbook for Emma and Shirley. Cute fanart and a bit of crossover!

A note: I now have a paid account on Badongo.com to facilitate permanent hosting of these files. The payment for this is coming out of my pocket, and the Emma files will remain as long as I keep it up. If you'd like to contribute, I'd very much appreciate it ^_^
